I started taking photographs about 20 years ago, thanks to a university exam, first in analogue and later in digital.
I have not stopped since then, making it my profession for more than 10 years now.
Photography allows me to capture those fleeting, in-between moments, those suspensions and tensions that it is rare to perceive while living.
Looking at reality through the camera is like looking through a microscope at what is happening around us: we can go deeper, pause to understand the nature of situations, people, places.
No photo is ever just what you see but includes in itself a before and an after the instant in which it was taken, it is a state of transit, a dynamic motion like that which moves us.
