Massimo and Gabriella Carmassi designed the extension of the municipal cemetery in Arezzo using one of their favorite construction techniques, drystone masonry. The bricks underwent a special processing technique: instead of sand on the surface, the paste was treated with wood filings to enhance the natural colors of the clay. The masonry interacts with the concrete of the structure and walls.
